Comic Art Exhibition

Venue: Mrs Jones Art Shop & Gallery, Coleham, SY3 7DU
Date/Time: 3 June - 1 July (Weds - Sat 10.30am - 4pm)

This June, prepare to be amazed as four grand masters of comic art come together to present an exciting exhibition of work at Shrewsbury’s new MRS JONES Art Shop & Gallery in Belle Vue.

Comic Art: A Master Craft runs from Saturday 3rd June to 1st July and will feature the work of internationally renowned comic illustrators Charlie Adlard, Christian Ward, Dan Berry and Mike Perkins, the artists behind some of  our best loved superheroes and villains including The Walking Dead, Superman, Captain America, Thor and the X-Men.

As an exclusive, Charlie will be revealing previously unseen work from a book by Walking Dead co-creator Robert Kirkman, as well as a splash of original artwork from Altamont depicting guitar hero Eric Clapton in a cameo with one of its main characters.

Whether you’re new to comics, or a die-hard fan, this is a unique chance to discover the talent behind some of the world's most iconic comic characters and projects from cosmic space operas to the illustration of nobel prize winning books. A world-class exhibition awaits - so don't miss it!

The exhibition is being run in support of Belle Vue Arts Festival.
