Are you frustrated with the photographs you take? Do you think that you need an expensive camera to get better shots? Then maybe this workshop is for you.

Led by local photographer James Warman, this session will explain non-technical, simple tips and techniques to make your pictures stand out, regardless of the camera you use (including camera-phones).

You will learn what makes a good image, how the quality of light plays an important part in image taking, the basics of composition, timing and so much more. The session involves a circular walk of about an hour around Shrewsbury where James will demonstrate various techniques to turn your images from snapshots to great shots0! All you need is a comfortable pair of shoes, a camera (old, new, fancy, simple, camera-phone, digital or film – it doesn’t matter) and a willingness to learn and have fun. James will also be happy to answer any photography related questions you may have.

We will meet at Frankwell Car Park (by the suspension bridge) at 7pm on Wednesday 22 June 2022 where there will be a short introduction, before we head off on our circular walk of town, returning to the car park for about 8 to 8.30pm.

We look forward to seeing you there!
