Do you have an old kitchen, dining or garden chair that could do with a makeover?

 

We had a fantastic response to this last year, so we're looking forward to even more entries this year as we offer up the challenge of decorating a neglected chair in our theme of 'fantasy' using any materials you wish.

 

Chair Art is an innovative form of community arts that aims to involve wide participation and creativity by taking unwanted chairs and transforming them in to personal works of art. As big fans of recycling, we encourage you to use ‘freecycle’ or similar to find a chair if you don’t already have one hiding in the garage or wherever!

 

You are not limited in the materials you use when transforming your chair, but your designs should be relevant to the festival’s theme which this year is ‘fantasy’.​
