A guided journey into Shropshire’s myths and legends.

This year’s Fantasy Trail invites you to join storyteller Danielle Free on a guided walk through part of the much‑loved Myths, Legends and Folktales of Shropshire route, reimagined especially for our festival’s Fantasy theme.

 

As you follow Danielle through the town, each stop will reveal a tale rooted in local history or centuries‑old imagination. Expect mystery and surprise with the kind of stories that make you glance twice at places you thought you knew.

 

This is a gentle, hour and a half walk - perfect for anyone who enjoys folklore, local history, or simply seeing Shrewsbury through the art of storytelling.
