Shrewsbury Railway Heritage Trust

Find out more about the railway history of Belle Vue and Shrewsbury.
We will also have a toy train set for kids to play with, and lots of Lego to try and create the Darlington Brick Train by David Mach (1997). Incredibly this involved using 185,000 bricks!

Sustainable Transport Shropshire

Find out more about this active campaigning group, who are looking to support more sustainable transport journeys in our town and countryside

Severn Valley Cycle Path
This is a campaign to restore the old Severn Valley Railway into a Cycle Path, focusing on the link between Cross Houses and Shrewsbury.  If successful, this would mean a segregated cycle route is available out beyond the bypass from the edge of Belle Vue. This would be an extension of the current cycle path (old railway line), which runs through the Rea Brook Valley local nature reserve

YES PLEASE – sign me up I hear you say!

Omega

Omega will be raising funds for their End-of-Life Care charity through a plant sale.  Perennially popular! (ahem – bad gardening term there). Do bring cash and help a worthy cause
