Severn Valley Cycle Path
This is a campaign to restore the old Severn Valley Railway into a Cycle Path, focusing on the link between Cross Houses and Shrewsbury. If successful, this would mean a segregated cycle route is available out beyond the bypass from the edge of Belle Vue. This would be an extension of the current cycle path (old railway line), which runs through the Rea Brook Valley local nature reserve
Omega will be raising funds for their End-of-Life Care charity through a plant sale. Perennially popular! (ahem – bad gardening term there). Do bring cash and help a worthy cause
Shrewsbury Urban Sketchers
Join this friendly group and capture the street scene event in your sketch book!
Shrewsbury & Newport Canal Trust
We will have leaflets from this campaign to restore this
historic canal link between Shrewsbury and Newport
