Great Big Green Week is the UK’s biggest celebration of community action to tackle climate change and protect nature.  During the week, communities, schools, businesses, churches, mosques and more join together in a wave of support for action to protect the planet.

Sharing memories of train spotting from the 1950’s to the present day. We invite people to reminisce and recollect their “trainspotting” days which will be published in our digital programme show guide and will be free to download.

'Sing for Water' is a UK wide project that brings together singers from a range of choirs AND raises money for WaterAid projects around the world. With 8 choirs taking part this year, singing in 4 languages, this is going to be a fantastic musical extravaganza! Find our more here.

Providing a unique opportunity for art enthusiasts to engage directly with the artists and their work, English Bridge Studios will be the Shrewsbury destination for this exciting event.

With an array of activities throughout this week, English Bridge Studios open their doors as part of the Open Studios, complete with live ukulele band, Alive and Plucking. The week continues with a variety of art workshops and demonstrations.

Families are all invited to join in this mass cycling event! All ages, abilities and bike sizes welcomed.

"EBW at 40" celebrates 40 years of memories in this iconic building with an exhibition, family book-making workshop with Dads On Tour providing some ambient music between 4 and 6pm.
